went to Car Fever today, a big event with drifting, drag, burnout, show and shine competition. my friend won best show n shine with his touothpaste 300zx
i simply did some 1/4 runs to test my relay wiring for the nitrous. So i plugged a test light instead of the noids and everything cheked out.
So i get the nitrous filled up at 10$/lbs and he manage to get 11lbs in it.
with my wallet now lighter i line up with fox body mustang and start to get all exited, turned out it didnt shoot.
so i start cheking after my run and my wot relay isnt cliking anymore i was fucking pissed, i tough the actual sensor was fucked , when i got i switched both relay ( from their sockets) and it was now working i tried it out, still not spraying so i have 1 relay playing free games. il get my tester from work and test them properley this week, kinda pissed right now, still manage an other 12.62 run today and it was a hot day. not sure if my text is coherent but anyways

tldr my nitrous isnt spraying cause of fucked relay

marked my tires before my runs ( did 4 runs) the mark on the rim is under the ''p275''

redid all my wire connections, retested my relays everything cheked out, buttoned it all back togheter.
Then a friend of mine hosted a drag event with his jdm car ''crew'' ( certified sick eastside on facebook) so i started talking shit and showed up and hoped i wasnt gonna shame myself.
was about 15 cars, we met at a fast food spot in then cruised together all the way to the track, turned out their was a small mist that turned into rain and they closed the drag strip, only had time attack open and actually closed while i was in the line up...
once the rain cleared out the track dried 25 mins later. By that time it was dark outside so it was kinda hard to be good was 30 second course in the vette, 34 in the rwd skylines and 29 with the awd skylines, 28 in brz... lol th ebeater future to be turbo el actually managed 34 second lap also.

On the way back it started raining again so i didnt get to spray on the highway either, i guess god doesnt want me to spray the vette...
still looking sexy with the drag radials on.

for some reason my n2o noid is stuck open with 0 volts to it... as soon as i open my bottle it sprays nitrous wtf is wrong with this system, im starting to get pissed and im lucky i didnt blow my engine the last time i was getting ready to test it i shut it off quick cuz the engine wasnt liking it... anyways going to the drags tonight an im still not going to spray, i hope i can still beat my jdm budys witouth the extra 100 horses, il take pics for you guys, skyline galore

So i went to a different drag strip then usual on tuesday. track was so slippery i coulnt floor first or second gear, actually lost 2/3 races against a tesla but i stil managed to beat the jdm fanboys i went with. no time slips tough.
oh the important part, i fucked up 3rd gear's synchro and now im crying... seems like nitrous is the least of my worries now.
changed my accessory belt for a gator back yesterday, no more squeaking, only 3rd gear grinding ( well i dont shift into 3rd anymore)
so now ima have to learn how to play in a corvette t56, wish me luck.

have fun with the t56, after about 3 rebuilds you should be good to go.

Nitrous really shouldn't have been on your priority list to start with. Learning to drive the car should have been #1. I'm not trying to be harsh but a 150 shot doesn't cover up bad driving and it will break parts even faster with a bad/inexperienced driver. You might not be bad, but you are definitely inexperienced in the car. Lucky for you pulling the T56 in a C5 isn't very hard. You will need to get the car quite high in the air, drop the entire rear suspension cradle, and pull.

A typical rebuild with upgraded synchros is around $1200-1600. Put a Monster Stage 3 clutch in it while you are there since you intend on spraying it.





3 self rebuilds or 3 good rebuilds? If you don't grind the fuck out of the shifts with a good rebuild it should hold ~650hp all day long.
