You said its coming from the from. Did you mean front? You are going to hear some valvetrain noise on any 450. It's more of a clatter than a cling cling.

I got a couple quotes on 14' KX250F's the other day. I might pick one up and finish out this season on the 450f. I'll probably keep the 450f for play riding unless someone comes along with the right offer. My 07 is as light as an 06 with the power of the 06 but better suspension and 5 gears. In 08 they made some cam and carb adjustments to smooth out the power. 09 was the start of fuel injection. So what I have is the hardest hitting KX450f 5 speed they have made to date. It would be fun to keep around. I'd let it go for $3500 though. These things depreciate so bad it's nuts.

My bro had an 07 CRF450 which is exactly the same power wise as far as hondas go.. 07 is the hardest hitting year by far. After that they smoothed it out then went to FI.

I found an 07 CRF450 at a dealership bout 2 months ago with a bunch of extras for $3300 asking but it looked like it was ridden hard and put away wet. I am not in a rush to get a bike right now because my truck isn't road worthy at the moment but I have been keeping my eye out for a good deal.

What is the sticker on the 14 KX250F's like $7K?

7600. They have a big rebate until 6/30. I was quoted $6300 OTD from one dealer and $5850 OTD from the dealership i used to work at. They will sell it to me crated.
