So... I think we have different definitions of "Rep". When I think of "Replica" wheels I'm thinking about stuff like OE Wheels. They make Cheap aftermarket copies of OEM wheels, not just a take off of an OEM design. OE Wheels stuff is under $100 a wheel and they look just like the OEM wheel. They are cast.


Those CCW LM5T's you posted are a take off of an OEM wheel but they are forged aluminum and CNC machined. Most of their stuff starts at around $700 a wheel. They aren't exactly cheap. You can easily option them out to over $1k per wheel.

What I'm saying is it isn't a shitty quality rep just because it looks similar to an OEM wheel. I've never heard of anyone having any quality problems with CCW. They have been in the game a loooong time.

It's a custom wheel company. Doing their own take on a popular style doesn't make it a "Rep" to me. The title of your thread is Replica wheels vs Real Wheels. By calling CCW a rep company you are implying that they aren't "Real."

Nobody is implying that except you. Some of their wheels ARE reps, yes they are made with super high quality, yes they are on a completely different level than Rota and XXR, yes they STILL have some reps. Replica means that they reproduced the same design as the original.

I'm guessing you say Varrstoen's arent reps either.
