So are 4 of my 5. My built bottom end is in a stored project. You can't use that against me. It was a personal choice. My wife's 1.4L ecotec could probably hold more power than that CRV lol. If you ever want to line up with her economy car i'll tune it and you can try. Who knows, you may beat a girl in a stock cruze in a race that could be mistaken for 2 people merging into traffic.

Its weird that you talk about my CRV holding up power when the boosted motor isnt even from a CRV hehehehe

And who knows, your Cruze would probably get recalled before the "race" even finished.

Sometimes I'm embarrassed to own a Honda because of people always talking about how their car is "never ready" to "really race". Nigga it's a HONDA, they aint fast...and the fast ones are just fucking silly. With the money spent making my Si fast I could've bought a clean, full bolt-on Fbody that would smoke that shit all day and be 10x as fun yo.

I dont build my shit to race. I build it for self pleasure. I through the swap and turbo kit on last summer and ran it all summer without any problems. I soon came to realize how weak the rear differential is, so with winter coming, I chose to pull the boosted motor out, and through a stock swap back in so that I could handle winter with np and start modifying my turbo setup.

I may not even throw the motor back in unless I pick up a second shell, so that I can modify the rear end to handle the power a lot better. I've seen one down in NJ with a Miata rear end and WRX ujoints. If that's the case, an RX7 rear end should be possible too (since all the Miata guys upgrade to that).

And tbh, nobody really makes any of the newer Honda's "fast". But it takes minimal amounts of cash to make any 90's make 300-500whp and easily run 10's with the right setup, for a lot less than buying an Fbody with full bolt ons.

Whats the boosted motor in then? Something equally imported but even rustier? Our cruze has only had 2 recalls. One was simply drilling some holes in the belly pan and the other was checking the steering wheel fastener.
