yeh the one this weekend is for a friend, he's getting my old motor. I gave $50 for it outta the junk yard and sellin it to him for 350+50 installation fee haha, I'm such a good friend :) it's a low mileage motor so it's worth it.

The reason for doing my own motor swaps is for more power, stock is 60 hp, sohc b6 was 80/85, this one is 140, with torque to match, it's not a honda.

You realize most Honda's have that if not more, right...?

There's more to honda's that the one 1.5L motor they offer...

Lol I've probably built more hondas than you, so I'm pretty aware of thier capabilities, and there's a reason I own mazdas and not a civic with a b18 swap. I'm not saying they're not good cars or easy to make fast, but they aren't a festiva.

Well the damn thing still isn't running.

I successfully completed another engine upgrade swap sunday, fifth one in less than 4 weeks time. did a custom exhaust all the way back, fixed a LCA bolt issue common to these cars(real pita tho). Fixed my buddies radiator fan issue, fixed another friends brake lines on his dodge dakota, AND fixed my OTHER buddies f150 intermittent stall issue+a bad starter solenoid, BUT MY FILUCKING CAR STILL ISNT RUNNING!

Fucking bullshit if you ask me, i fix everyone elses everything but I cant get my own car to fire up.

I have a friend in florida shipping me a known good distributor, ive already swapped knock boxes and went through all the wiring harness splices fixed and refixed grounds that didnt need fixed. We'll see if I can get her to run tomorrow or the next day when I get the new distributor.

On the bright side I made enough $$$ on this 3 day weekend I had to buy myself all the parts I need for a fully custom coilover setup :)

I'm thinkin some VW MK II front struts and MK III rear struts, civic bump stops, 185#x10" front springs with kia rio top hats, 135#rear springs with my own homebrew top hats to get the static sag out. Haha she's gonna be a beast!

Holy escalation bro. I was just notifying you that 90% of the Honda's made passed 04 make that same power from the factory if not more...

Yea they weigh alot more too, and they cost quite a bit more too, and when you try to build them they start breaking. I'm just putting stock power in a stock car for dirt cheap and having fun with it for now. I have a friend with a 450 Hp blown J series,(i had no part in building that car I just go for rides in it lol) it's a super nice car, but I'm not looking at forking out that kind of cash right now. I absolutely am not trying to talk shit about a honda someone has built, BUT i'll take my festy anyday. Do you know or understand the differences between an independant suspension and a trailing beam suspension? I did my first crx/b16 swap when I was 16, that was 12 years ago, and I couldn't name the rest of the hondas I've worked on or helped build since then. I don't know where your comming from with 'ls swap isn't a build' because it is a swap that increases power and diverts from OEM standards. 20HP doesnt sound like much but it's definitely worth it, always is. Why would you care anyway you sound like one of the guys that thinks nothing is fast unless it's a v8...or at least a v6 mustang LOL.. Go troll elsewhere.

Just so you have an idea of whats going on here, im putting 140+hp and torque to match into a car that weighs less than a crx,(1736 with me sitting in it according to the scales) with a (imo) better suspension. If you want to build a car you think is as capable please feel free to do so and I won't criticize your build unless you ask my opinion on something.

Also already grabbed a spare ecu and have it lined up for $150 to get it chipped for 16lbs boost with the stock turbo, so that 140 number won't last long after i get it running and get everything smoothed out.

I got you brah, sorry about the delay I had some issues that had to get worked out, other projects took precedence and stuff but I got it fired up and this little fuker is fast lol.. I can't keep the wheels from spinning all through 1st 2nd and most of third at HALF THrOTTLe, not even trying to spin tires it just happens!

I got a sticking caliper I gotta get swapped, gonna do some suspension work and get some new rubber and find a racetrack sometime this summer. I bet with these tires I can spin @60+ in third..
