2 8 inch sleeves for axles being machined this week. Smallest piece of metal I could order was 2 feet it was 65 dollars, I'm getting them machined for free from my supervisor his buddy owns a machine shop, I will still throw him a 150 dollars for helping me. I feel like I still made out like a bandit. Just have to bolt in rear end and get total length for both sides of rear end that are needed cut them down and takem to work and weld them. And plug it back in. Turbo kit is coming Tuesday. Unfortunately it will be sitting in room until I get cams/springs and retainers arp head studs and injectors and top mount fuel rail.


I'm very excited. I've got over 12,000 in this car! I want to kill some ricers and camaros/mustangs! 😉

1 3/4 inch 4140 round bar machined to sleeve over axles.





Picture of it around my drive shaft it's .001 bigger then shaft. Very tight and nice 😉

So is this a common mod to strengthen axles?

I am assuming that is gonna welded at both ends? Seems like it should work I guess.
