You see where the torque crosses through?  That doesn't even matter, you shouldn't have that much horsepower in your first car.  Anything over 200hp and you are pooched.

I didn't say everyone wrecks their first car, the majority of the driving population does however do something stupid with their first car that gets it damaged.  The higher the power and the less experience someone has the more trouble they could possibly have driving said car around all the time.  Besides that you should get some junkie old beater for under three grand and learn to appreciate what you have and that it gets you from place to place.

Exactly, one of the kids I went to high school with got a Mustang for his 18th birthday.

He was talking with his friends while driving around like an idiot and drove it under a bus.

I personally drove my first truck into a ditch because I was being stupid within my first month of driving.  And it was a crappy vehicle and I didn't hurt it one bit.

I put a push bar on my first truck. Saved my headlights and grill easily 5-6 times ( no vehicle acidents me personally , my step dad ate a santa fes hatch with it though..) scratch free lol
