yeah right, lmk when you wake up from your dream.

itll be 90k+ easily.

They aren't that stupid. Z06 is their middle of the run package. I'm seeing 70-75k. The Z06 isn't like the viper, where they just make it every few years for a cool factor. Nobody is in the market for a 90k car right now. It's not going to happen. The base model is very bad ass already, and they MSRP for what, 50 ish?

this isn't anything remotely like the old z06.... did you not watch the video?

The people who will be buying this car aren't concerned about money.... this isn't your average, run of the mill, mustang or daily driver.... 625 horsepower.... this is like the new zr1.

and yes msrp is 50k on a BASE 2014 but you won't get one anywhere close to msrp right now

He has coupes for sale in the 50's.

Shop around guys <.< Just because a dealer wants 70 doesn't mean nobody is selling them for less.

It all depends on where you live. We have a $300 cap on vehicular sales tax.

My take on price is $80k to get in a Z06, $100k for a loaded Z07 package.

Look at the technology and engineering in this thing. Everything is an upgrade over the C6 ZR1.

Displacement on demand and a clutched supercharger? 100lb lighter aluminum frame that is still 30% stiffer WITH a targa top? 7 speed manual, 8 speed auto? On top of all that the bits and pieces look like they should be there. Look at the fit and finish on the splitter and spoiler. Its AMG Mercedees quality. The Ford guys can stop trying to compare the GT500 to the Z06 now. Its not even the sane league.

A 3LT Z51 is over $70k, I'm thinking the z06 will be more like $85-90 start with the z07 capping at $110-115. Those brakes and carbon pieces will get pricey fast.

When i was originally talking with my friends i said exactly the same thing. I lowered my estimates a bit because GM wants to move more of these than they did C6Z's. If they offer the Z06 with a base interior it could msrp in the low 80's. I'd think most people would option a non Z07 into the 90's. Z07 starting at 95ish, not much left to option on it. Standard features are the wild card in all of this. If a Z07 went to 110 it wouldn't shock me one bit.
