Ive wanted a MIG welder for a while now.
But what would you use to cut the plate? Plasma?

I also live in an apartment for now so space is an issue. And my dads shop is only wired for 110v so working at my parents is limited too.

Its not too late to cancel the order!
Lol, I work at a sheet metal shop with 3x laser cutters, 6x press brakes, a full welding shop, and plenty of space to powder coat.
Sadly I cant use any of it for personal projects (at least right now, new boss coming soon though).

Im gonna try and hold off on the rear bumper to see if I can somehow get access at work with the management changing over. From what Ive heard its been hit or miss with each manager in the past.

Maybe I can at least get someone to powder coat the bumper for me, thats not much labor at all.

That's too bad. The last fab shop I worked at had a Laser table, some big CNC plasma tables, press brakes, iron workers, manual and CNC lathes, manual mills, Mig/Tig welders, hand plasma cutters, etc. On slow days we would actually dedicate time on the clock to cutting signs and stuff on the plasmas and lasers. I worked on my cars, quad, projects, etc all in the shop. It was nice. The pay sucked, but it has its perks.

Working somewhere that has facilities you need and not being able to use them sucks balls.

You can do a lot with 110 welder, also, they don't have 220 for the washing machine?

Also, cut it with an angle grinder or torch or sawzall

No need a plasma cutter although they are nice
