ehhh not really. The rear end doesn't look as aggressive as the last gen IMO, but the new scoop and HUD is pretty sexy. Wish ford would do a HUD
Overall it is less rectangular, boxy, and aggressive in my eyes. Maybe if he is looking at a 2014 SS with the ground effects and comparing it to a base model 10-13 model it would be more aggressive. The grille is smaller, everything is less aggressive looking. This is a transition from the box on wheels it was to what the 6th gen camaro will be. The styling changed much in the same way the mustang appears to be changing. It's going in the opposite direction of that ridiculous body kit up there^^^.
Oh, and I like my HUD. It keeps me from unknowingly speeding. Now if I get a bad ticket I was literally looking through my speed when I was pulled over. They have been on the corvette since the C5. I'm glad it finally trickled down. Speed, direction, RPM, and radio station selection/current song can all be displayed. Vehicle messages scroll across the screen. You can move it up/down/left/right about 5 inches on the windshield to accommodate almost all drivers and it is can be dimmed to the point it is nearly invisible if you want more transparency. I just wish the night time visibility was better when backing up. Tiny windows, sitting in a hole, dark tint, and tiny mirrors have forced me to open the door while backing on more than 1 occasion. The back up assist alarm is a necessity.
