That's a completely different platform though it's kind of irrelevant. 19 psi is low boost for this build. 25 psi was low/mild boost for this build. I was going in there fully planning to go up to 35+ psi but the exhaust housing choked up and we stopped making power at 25 psi so that was it. I'm pretty happy with the car though, it's a blast to drive so far. So basically I ended up with a pretty fun DD on a safe tune that should lats me quite a while, and will most likely run 10s @ the track.

And maybe this week after I get my wheels on I'll go to a local dynojet and do a few pulls and see what it comes up with to compare to my mustang dyno chart.


I wasn't trying to compare them. I was clarifying for you. I've been around a high hp neon before. Its a novelty. Once you get tired of spinning all the time it gets old.

prettymuch, thats why im selling my spirit r/t. 35psi /meth injection is way overkill and its kinda meh to me now.

it was fun the first couple years / first few thousand miles on the car but now its just a spool toy i hardly drive.. i put barely 100 miles on it this entire summer so far.. i got it out today cuz its finally not raining and not 90 degrees out so its actually a nice drive..

i wouldnt go that far, i knew what i was getting into building my r/t, i just went a bit overboard / got carried away with it ><

Yeah I get all of that. I'm not one of these kids who thinks neons are the fastest baddest car on the market. It's fun and that's what I have it for. I'm about to go to Korea for 3 years and maybe Japan after that so who knows, might buy something ricey.

when i lived in japan you could find supras and R32-34s like they were super cheep candy. the problem is getting them back well having them pass the inspection to come back.
