Also really enjoy the fbodys and the zeta platform.

As a platform the only ideal cars on that list would be the vette, the m3, and the c63.

you can get a C5Z06 with decent miles and mods for around 20k

The C5Z is the ultimate track car platform right now with $ in mind. As you said 20k gets you a nice one with mods, a really nice one without mods, or a not so nice track monster.

its what im looking at getting next got one with heads cam full exhaust with some other small mods for around 20k unless i can find a nice C6 for a good price

Give it a year and ls3 C6s are gonna start to drop in price pretty rapidly, c5 z06s with low miles have pretty much bottomed out. If anything, they're rising in value. I just need to get my ccws cleaned and find some longtubes and I'll be happy with mine.

they better not drop too far! From what I've heard they have actually come up in price a bit this year. But my fear is that there will be 1,000's of them being traded in on c7s. How low are you thinking? Hopefully they don't drop any farther then the current prices on the LS2 cars

In Canada its going to be huge because msrp went from $62000 on a base c6 to $52000 on a base c7 to compete with US pricing. But yeah even in the states its gonna be pretty big I'd imagine. Its a huge upgrade.

But no they haven't come up in price this year, they have dropped. People are trying to unload prior to the C7, and not many people are buying because they're waiting for the C7. Its a buyers market.

But if we're in the 20k range aren't there other options? (Of course not that much power but...)

What about a Cobra? or with 20k I could probably get like a Camaro SS/ Challenger SRT
