The reason you buy a car from a private party is to get the best deal possible! 5.3k was not the best possible deal. the trade in at a dealership would have been 3.8k or less because with a car needing a timing belt is considered to be in "FAIR" condition. That being said to offer more then 4.5k is silly.

Nice buy, these cars are alot of fun to drive. I dont recommend getting a big brake kit its not needed on the car at all. I worked at Lexus for 5 years feel free to pm me with any questions since i rarely troll this forum.
