I'm not saying it is ok, but your hyper-moral attitude is laughable. You think, without even knowing the specifics of the situation, that the OP should never be allowed to drive a car again because he committed an irresponsible act behind the wheel. By your logic, anyone who has ever broken a driving law (speeding, texting, recklessness, etc.) should not be allowed behind the wheel. That's ridiculous.

are you comparing speeding to drinking and driving?

I'm not pushing my morality on anyone else...driving 10 over isn't driving while your body cant react/function

We don't even know the specifics of the situation. For all we know, this dude had a single beer with his dinner and was 0.001 over the limit. That's probably less harmful than sending a text while driving.

To outright claim that someone who, in one specific situation, endangered other drivers should never be allowed to drive again is simply stupid.

Me too. I'm not arguing he didn't deserve a DUI, but to say he should never be allowed to drive again is stupid.

Driving with a drop of alcohol in your system isn't illegal. Idiotic statement.
