Saying Koreans were worse doesn't make Japs inferior to them, it just makes Koreans almost as good.
Just take a look at any European car magazine, and try to find some major flaw in newer Korean vehicles, or old ones. Even old Hyundais and Kias are quite reliable, few dozen ppl around me drive them for decade and more without any major issues.
Also, Koreans are starting to take over EU market rapidly, they've adopted nice design, quality build, competitive performance.


Gonna go ahead and call bullshit on that one.

Hyundais have gotten somewhat better. I'd still go fr-s though.

Hyundai has come a hell of a long way in the passed 10 years.

Despite people's stigma in regards to the badging they are now producing some impressive vehicles.

That said, you can't really compare a Gensis to a FR-S, they have two different distinct purposes.

Its like asking if you'd rather have a Mx-5 or a G35

If you're considering a 2013+ it's up in the air.... If you're choosing an frs/ BRZvs first gen genesis......FRS BRZ by longshot.

You get what you pay for, only driving Toyota's and my 2011 Taco was 32K, but if I wanted a nice sports car I'd go with Toyota.. fanboy I am :blush:

Think you failed to see the post that I had a BRZ... I know what you just stated captain obvious...

The lower weight + lower center of gravity still doesn't make up for the huge lack in horsepower.

Now when I was flying around turns in the BRZ, it was fun as hell to drive, a real drivers car that hugged the road but for straight up power, I'd go with the Genesis.

I like both though obviously.

everyone hating on hyundai for no reason...a good few years back a hyundai was a complete piece of shit yes...but they have come so far with their cars they get nothing but great reviews and also offer a 10 year powertrain warranty on their newer cars

I'm not hating on Hyundai, they actually make really reliable vehicles. My old lady drives a Sonata, it's a damn good car. I just love Toyotas.

Basically, one has some power to it, and the other doesn't. That said, the FRS does everything else better.
