That's pretty awesome, it's a real shame I don't have any tracks near me, I'd love to turn my cbr600 into a track bike. Plans for the cbr right now are to make it a naked stunt bike.

Yeah man, i live about a 45 minute drive from NJMP in NJ. Ever since they opened and i went for the first time i got addicted. SO MUCH better than riding street, and you actually learn how to ride..I havent rode street in a long ass time. My 600 is 100% track bike now.

Gsxr or R6 if you're wanting a jap bike. Every CBR I've ridden has felt like a turd. There a also the kawasaki 600 but I have no experience with them.

lol cant say I can say the same. Riding a r6 is like riding a pig in terms of the posture you get riding it. Hondas more like a horse. controllable and comfortable. Needless to say on power levels are completely different bikes the r6 definetely not for the faint hearted.

Thats why I said he needs to sit on each one and kinda get a feel for each. Everyone has their own preference. I agree with the r6 posture, i really dont like it, but some people love it.

I might agree, the r6 out of all 600s is probaly the quickest, but not my far, in the end all of the 600s are quick enough lol.

I preferably like the gsxr 750, but hes just buying a street bike, really a 250 is more than you will need for the streets unless your some goon wanting to do 150+ on the highways

Yeah I agree with 250s spite what people usually say about "you'll get bored". True but then again you wont get chances to use up 600cc power on the public roads.
If I was to put a safety input about 600s id say they are somewhat "safer" than 250s.. the amount of times averted collision with drivers and by that I mean things I couldnt get away with riding a 250cc.

Street bikes are also awesome in fact in another world where I had enough money id just skip sportbikes and go on streetbikes :) Perfect for those starting out and perfect for the veterans too. Comfy riding easy to learn easy everything lol.

Well if you arent going to be responsible you shouldnt own a street bike in the first place, doesnt matter if its a 250 or a 1000.
