I like it a lot. Best looking one since the C3 IMO.

that looks a hell of a lot better than the OP pics. ive been to the corvette museum and when you first go in they have brand new off the line corvettes sitting there waiting for the owners to come pick them up. theres nothing sexier than standing there right next to a brand new vette. i fell in love with the the c6 zo6 in a red similar to this one that was sitting there. pics usually dont do much justice.

also yeah the new taillights kind of have a camaro feel to them but it was time to update away from those oval lights theyve used forever.

yeah pretty much. i can see very vague resemblances but about the only thing is really the hood vent. now that you mention it though the taillights on the rear of the elise is probably what the corvette wouldve looked like if they kept those ugly oval lights instead of changing them
