In all honesty after having called alot of logic into question I respect your decision thoroughly. Mind you I own an S2k currently with a blown head gasket....Finding one that hasn't been thrashed is nearly impossible. Luckily this car is essentially mint except for that issue, and I got it for a song aka 4 grand....But yeah, a clean low mileage car with a good history is a godsend.
N1 on the 04 though, I heard the 05+ had some problems with the 6 speed, and that the 5 speed in previous years is better. Enjoy your new ride.
