Not entirely true, you are able to do plenty of modifications without voiding the warranty--it all depends on the manufacturer. Other than cosmetic stuff, I only plan on changing the exhaust on my M3 and I won't have any issues with it voiding my car's warranty (other than issues that are a direct cause of the modification). Other than that, this car doesn't need a lot else. I just miss the amazing E63 exhaust note and want something similar on this car :D.

The company I work for does all the roadside for BMW in the Calgary area, I see way too many different problems with these cars.

In contrast we also take car of the Porsche roadside and rarely do I tow them for anything but dead batteries (aside from collisions).

They're nice, just too much money and way too expensive to fix.

Look at how often you see bmws on the road compared to Porsches, BMWs are great and very reliable cars... And can be very fast/great track cars.

yes because theres tons of different bmw models made, not very many porsche models made. and the lowest model porsche starts at 50k brand new.. the lowest bmw starts at 30k
