Lol'd.

Also friend has a new evo tranny went out at about 15k miles

His friends went out at 2.5k

And factory won't cover it if you have redlined for x amount of seconds....

its their performance division. mopar, ford racing, nismo, TRD, etc...

i know what it is, i just never looked into why its called subaru technika international.

just by looking at dodges SRT / street and racing technology, or toyotas TRD - toyota racing development, i can tell what it means.

but technika international? just doesnt have any obvious disclaimers to identify that its a performance division lol

the subaru's timing is easy as shit to do once u know how to set all 4 cam gears up and lock them in place and throw the tensioner in.

its not a complicated timing setup at all

on his just gott have the arrows on the gears facing certain indents on the cylinder head.

first try you can get it within 1 tooth of dead on, second is to stretch the belt enough to pull the one cog over a tooth and have it dead on for timing.

once you look at it and know what yur doing, it litteraly take 2-3 minutes to setup the timing belt

my very first time doing a wrx / on my friends car, it took like 10 minutes to figure out what has to be pointing where, after that is cake
