I was in a similar situation as you before living paycheck to paycheck, 2 kids and a stay at home wife to support
I now work 20 days on 10 days off on the other side of the country paying my own flights until we decide to move out there, yeah it sucks but you do what you have to for your family

mason, for work i make 28 an hr atm. this was not a pity party, i dont accept anything from anyone. i dont like handouts. if anything it was more like a cry for help me fix this or advice

no dude, he has three (woops, more than i thought) children and a wife who I'm gonna assume is a stay at home mom... I can easily see how money would be tight, especially when shit goes wrong (like right now)

I bet the only higher paying job he could realistically grab in the near future would be working on an oil rig

trust me we dont, thats why we cant afford to do what has to be done. i have 3 kids who are 10,7,4 they eat alot... i was planning on geting rid of the dogs just to get her a new car, i know how to budject pretty well. my wife spendslike 200 a week on groceries and saves 100+. this just came as a shocker sort of, i knew it was coming but maybe not so soon. i wasnt prepared for it and now im hung out to dry

editi make 28 an hr, depending on where i work sometimes 33+

So do a lot of people, me included.
Maybe look at consolidating debt and doing a budget plan with a financial advisor. I've been there, done that and it helps.
Maybe pick up a part-time evening job 2-3 nights a week to help tide you over.

or become a drug dealer on the weekends.
