It's a 99 and a half model. there are '99 golfs that are the old body style and then there are 99's that are the new body style. The 99's that are the new style are 99 1/2's.

Think it is confusing for you....try buying parts!! Can't tell you how many times i've gotten home and the part not fit bc it was for the old body style 99!
