tbh i read it, just felt like typing tldr than saying "ok".

He means 1/4. Which is about right. Most cars don't fall into the glory run category that people like to quote on the internet. Most stock LS1 F-bodies don't run 12's out of the box. They run 13.2-13.4. There are plenty that have run 12.80's and 12.90's but that isn't the norm.


One local guy had a white EG hatch with a stock B18 on 13psi. With slicks and the passenger/rear seats out it went 13.0@ like 112. It is the fastest honda that ever comes out. Well, it was. He blew it up and bought a GT40R67 turbo to put on it after he forges it. He's a fucking idiot and didn't realize that a GT40R67 is a 67mm turbo. The car is sitting in his garage because it needs a shit load of motor work before it can spool a 67mm turbo.

The same car ran like 14.0 or 14.1 with a B16 and a 40 shot. A fucking 40 shot of nitrous blew that car up. You would barely feel a 40 shot in a domestic. Pathetic.

that a stock 4 cyl is in the 14's? and your turboed ls was only just over a second faster?...you should have been doin mid 12's with an ls turbo unless you only ran on like 8psi

could it be because of the size of the motor and the power it already produces?....

a stock lsb18 doesnt run a 14... try high 16's at that, mabye higher.

12's are hard to break, especially in a fwd vechile with a stock transaxle.

Look man, if it doesn't at least run 13 something it doesn't belong at the track. The fact that they lose to stock pickup trucks all the time is pathetic. That is the only reason guys go out there with their trucks. They get tired of watching 18 second passes by riced out civics and accords so they go race their trucks to make fun of them. The ricers still don't understand that they are the butt of the joke. Some of them actually jump up and down and get excited when one of their buddies beats a stock pickup truck.

Exactly my point. What you barely feel in a domestic is enough to shatter a honda engine. Do you realize that most 600cc sport bikes can hold a 40 shot?

okay, it still doesnt run a 14 stock. my friend had an '00 USDM type-r and it was slower than a k20 rsx-s.
