not denying the slow part. but it will make a diff, and he is planing to turbo.

like i said before if he were planing to keep it stock yea the non VTEC B18 is a waste of time, it will make a diff but like u say it wont be much. the VTEC engine would be a much better choice if he were keeping it stock, and it will make a very noticeable diff.

Yes, it is a stock motor.

It doesnt come stock in your car but it comes stock in another, and you didnt boost it or change anything on it besides maybe the fluids and a CAI

srry but i still disagree, the non VTEC B18 is still a much better motor than a D16, it has more power and is a DOHC engine. i know u know about engines, u cant tell me that replacing a 130 hp SOHC engine with DOHC engine with like 150-160 hp is not going to make a diff. it wont be a huge diff but u will notice. especially if u swap in a close ratio tranny with it.



if u are gonna go forced induction the B18b is your best starting platform for a decent price.


I already have the b18b, turboing it was my plan from the begining. If I was gonna stay n/a i would have done a b18c1 swap or a k20 swap.

right now, I'm just trying to choose a good turbo kit to get for it. dunno which one I want.

But i was saying it's not a stock civic, so the people saying that it is, would be wrong.

and it has DC Headers and an AEM cai lol so it's not 100% stock
