Same here.. I mainly enjoy buying higher end liquor or craft beer and having a couple drinks from time to time. This past weekend was different because I was in vegas but I still brought my own bomb tequila and shit for when I wasn't at the tables.

This is what I was drinking this weekend... good shit. Got it on sale 15% off for like $80

I've never had that before. I typically drink silver tequila. I don't care for aged stuff much. Half the fun is trying new stuff. I love going to World of Beer in Columbia and trying stuff i would otherwise never see.

You're a mason right?  Join a more skilled trade man..  Plumbing, electric, carpenters..

Instrumentation is where it's at. Very little electricity, and the biggest tool in your bag is a 3/8" wrench.

Eh, right now I'm on a service truck and I love it. Mostly service work on VFDs and motor controls. I'm not the grunt thank god.

I really want to get into NECA or something politically involved with the union.

I was standing next to a VSD for a 100HP Propeller pump motor when it had what our electricians call a RUD. I got out of that MCC really quickly. RUD stands for Rapid Unintended Dis assembly. It was pulling around 90 Amps when it blew up.

What sized limiter was it on? 90 amps is fucking insane.

We have a 1500 hp motor out here made to crush trees with a huge wheel. Its ran off of 4160v, direct high voltage. Ill take some pics of this bad bitch sometime for you.

This stuff was extra aged something like 5-7 years which is alot for tequila considering it already takes 10 years for the agave plant to mature. It was extremely smooth and had a very rich flavor and aroma to it. If I am doing shots I dont mind silver but the aged stuff is great for sipping on.

It's just a little circulation pump on one of our crystalizers. We have another one on a crystalizer that uses the circ pump to agitate the liquid instead of a prop agitator. I forget the hp rating but it's running 108amps@464rpm. The flow rate is 12,460-22,581GPM.

We have much bigger stuff elsewhere in the plant but i think we have the biggest stuff on a vsd in the area i work in. There is a 1500hp multi stage compressor that has it's own substation. It dims the lights on the east side of town when they kick it in. Most of our small stuff is 480v. We have 4 substations with a direct utility feed from Georgia Power. They are 14,600v i believe. Our electfic bill is 2-3mil a month. Natural gas for our boilers fluctuates between 1mil and 3mil.

70hp@460rpms sound right? :D

I'll post these pics in a bit of our 1500hp motor. The shaft is bigger around than my arm... It sits on a solid foundation of concrete about 15-20 feet in the air.

And yeah, 14000v sounds right if its coming right off of a local line. If you were in the middle of nowhere with a transmission substation, it would be more close to 150kv.

2-3 million a month is fucking retarded, what do you do? lol.
