Mine was the same way. I cut mine down and reattached the little ball at the top. Looks way better now.

12s/low 13s sound about right.
Id like to take my car to the track one of these days and see if I can break into 12s as well.

Any plans to make more power eventually?

I'll get AEM EMS II soon and then the car will plateau for a bit while I save up. Supercharger will be a long term goal, also the motor will be rebuilt, blueprinted and balanced, and compression changed. But those are all very high dollar items so it will be a bit before I get to that stage.

Looks beautiful.

Very cool what you're doing.

Few guys in Calgary with Honda NSXs.

Love these cars.

Motors in them are insanely durable. I remember an article about the AEM drag civic, they used the NSX 3.0 and had to custom build parts because honda offered no replacements due to the longevity of the bottom end.

I remember reading about that civic, I think they estimated it's output to be ~1800 but that seems a little optimistic, as 2JZs are only capping out at 1600. Crazy stuff

Slave cylinder went out today :(, I'll be ordering a new one tomorrow and at the same time I already ordered a stainless hose kit that replaces the rubber hose that connects the hard lines to the slave cylinder. Pretty much the equivalent of SS brake lines but for your clutch.

New slave cylinder arrived as well as a couple other parts, going to install this weekend hopefully.
