I spent 8 hours yesterday on my tractor fixing my friend's driveway so I could get my Trans Am on the lift.

Everything looks good. Nothing is bent or broken. It probably weighs as much as my Camaro thanks to all of the caked on dirt. The left rear spring wasn't sitting down on the spring bucket correctly which means the back end of the car actually came off the ground completely. That was holding the LR up about 3/4" of an inch. I set it back in place and it sits level again. I measured to the top of each wheel arch. Both fronts are 24.5" and the rears are 26.5" The front tires are 275/40/17 which is 25.66" so it actually tucks the front tire over an inch. That is a LOT for an F-body considering it doesn't rub at all. The rears are 295/35/18 which is 26.1" so it's within a half inch of tucking. I thought it was interesting since I've never really measured it.

I took the time to readjust the exhaust. Everything was a little out of whack. I loosened all of the clamps and started at the front, working my way back. I used a nice 4ft pry bar to adjust my GMMG catback to where it should have been all along. The tips are pretty even now. Even enough that the guy welding the Corsa clones on will be able to get them perfect.

I made a short list of things that need replaced after the off roading incident

Rear bumper cover - got one, needs paint
Front bumper cover paint - was already cracking/peeling when I bought it
2 Fog light housings - 1 is cracked
2 Turn signal housings - 1 is cracked

Other than that stuff it needs a dash pad and T-top seals. Not bad.

I ordered the fog light housings, turn signal housings, stuff to make up a new PCV system, struts for the rear hatch, and a door pin and bushing set

I'll take Non Performance parts for $371 Alex

Just raced a 2008 c6 vette for shits and giggles, was surprised in all honesty that I had him by about half a car length. All he had was a catback exhaust.

Its not a brag post, but I thought a stock (catback is pretty much stock) a c6 vette shoulda been enough to pull on me? Have I been mistaken the whole time?

Inb4 vette fanboys come in here and take a giant dump on me.

Dorms? Fuck that.

Honestly I lived at home still but stayed at my buddy most of the time, they rented a house by campus, nothing better than dragging the couch up to the roof and watching the girls walk home and holding up score cards, anything less than a 6 didn't get a score, momma always said if you don't got nothin nice to say...

If it was an 08 (LS3) it should run somewhere between 12.2 and 12.7 depending on Auto/M6. Auto cars are pretty consistent 12.4-12.5@115-116. If it was M6 it's all driver dependent but the record is 11.70's and some people run 13.50's. There is no reason to take a dump on you. If it actually happened and you beat him, you beat him. That is not bench racing.

If it was an 05-07 (LS2) car they run 12.40-12.80. Lots of M6's in the 12.70-13.0 range with less than stellar drivers.
