yes there is. they just didnt live after the early 90's.
i know because ive seen a few in the junkyards. next time i go to the junkyard ill take some pics of some renaults.
doesnt necessarily mean they were sold here, ppl import cars all the time. before the US got more strict with auto importation ppl imported all kinds of european autos. so there would be old ones sitting in junkyards.
they may have sold em here at one point though i have no idea.
