everyone always talks about track racing on these forums, and how their car is better at track racing than my car or someone elses car

Nurburgring count? Then yes, I've been on the Nurburgring in a series of cars: e92 M3, twin turbo celica, 1.4L turbo corsa, my CTR and few other mates cars. I must say the celica was the most fun, he was pushing about 600whp.

3 seconds in a 1/4 mile is a fucking HUGE difference

who gives a fuck about 1/4 straight line racing is boring... driving to 120mph in what 10-12 secs? where the fuck is the fun in that?

Anyone in a car thats capable of doing 10 1/4 would also be able to achieve 10-11 secs (unless they're complete morons and have driving auto all their lives). So wheres skill in that?

with minor suspension upgrades his trans am will walk your civic on a road course track.

yea thats probly ture, but with some minor suspension mods to the civic it may once agian have the advantage. we could all play that game all day long, i believe the comparison was to a stock GTO or Akuuz's car which still has stock suspension.

not to bash on you, because i like you, but you've never driven anything thats ran under a 12 have you? its a lot harder than people think.

but this is America, everything is highways and there are no hard turns honestly. so straight line would win the "street races" down here.

not a street race on my favorite road. their are alot of twisty canyon like roads in the US but yes the majority is flat, smooth and straight. O and boring.

I'm sry I forgot that I mentioned STOCK vs STOCK!

With his minor suspension upgrades and my minor suspension upgrades I again shit all over his car around a track.

Im not braging, im just saing straight line racing in europe has no place what so ever. apart from maybe a 100-200m drag from the lights.

Why do you think there are very few v6 v8s in europe? Theres no need for them! apart from sports/supercars
