External microphone arrived today. I am still waiting on the skeleton case in the mail, so I can't take the mic for a drive yet, but here's the first test.

Quality has improved vastly. Some distortion, apologies, I'll be able to adjust the placement of the mic, and hopefully quell that a bit.

But finally, a justified video of what the exhaust sounds like in person.

I'd like for you to hear it.

Yeah, I love driving my project to work. Makes it feel worthwhile.

Thanks guys. More videos to come for sure.

Tonight I changed out the slave cylinder.

Man, I don't know how the old one even functioned. It pretty much disintegrated when I pulled it. All full of grit and grime. Huge tear in the boot.

So I installed the new one, and MAN. HUGE change in driveability, once again. At least from my 2 mile jaunt up the road, revs seem to fall off as they should. Seems like the clutch is definitely disengaging quicker.

I'll confirm tomorrow after more testing. Hopefully my skeleton case arrives soon so I can get some good sound driving videos.

I love driving and working a on a project. So much fun!

Days worked on project to date: 45

Total money spent on project to date: $1054

#1 replace those wheels, they kill the car hahaha

#2 you have done so much work to the car, spend the extra $ and redo the carpet, it looks jankey

#3 white seats=bad always, dye them or something

#4 paint the interior stuff/plasti dip it

#5 fab up a fuel door, that exposed cap is fuckin ugly :-p

that thing has come out sweet.

im so glad i dont live on the east coast.

i personally cant deal with how much rust is in east coast cars, i woulda sent that one to the crusher or beat the shit out of it till it died haha

Agreed on ALL points.

I'm currently putting together the best combination of interior panels. I'm going to respray them, most likely gray, once I clean them all up.

Definitely redoing the carpet, it's waay too stained to clean. I may make new ones, using these carpets as templates.

Fuel door fab is an interesting idea. I'll start thinking of ideas.

And yeah, East Coast BLOWS...No car scene, which I blame on not having the cars, due to rust.

And yup, my plan is to beat this car until it breaks, or I finish the 240. Tax returns finally came today, so I will be looking into more goodies for that car.

No rest for the weary. Thanks again for the suggestions, and the compliments!

Well, off to work. Unfortunately composites don't build themselves.
