you and your mom driving matching mustangs together. how cute.

Not quite. She drives a stock black 06 gt. I drive a laser red 99 v6 with all new eibach suspension, custom konig wheels, headers, and more to come.

makes me sad to see people totally disregard brakes/suspension and go straight for power.

This. I did suspension, wheels, and tires first. Next up is brakes. Then I'll actually start on the motor.

cars & computers

Building your own > buying prebuilt
Computers: among computer hardware enthusiasts people look down on anyone who buys a prebuilt computer, no matter how good it is you're going to get ridiculed for buying something that's overpriced that you could have built yourself for cheaper
Cars: do car enthusiasts prefer taking a regular car and building/upgrading everything so it outperforms cars that are much more expensive?

Forced induction = overclocking
Computers: you can overclock most of your components (cpu, ram, video card, etc) but you have to make sure you have sufficient cooling, amps/voltage, etc. to handle it so your system remains stable. some systems have a lot of room for overclocking while others don't
Cars: forced induction requires you to have sufficient cooling and other car parts to be upgraded in order to be handle the increase in power. Some cars can handle a lot more power without needing a lot of upgrades while others need a lot of work

nos is a very short burst though. supercharger or turbo is more like o/c because its always there and going. nos is like sprinting on call of duty. its great for the short burst it gives you to get you there faster but it always runs out way too soon and your ass gets sniped.

IMO you shouldn't be o/c 24/7....if you are then should probably just make some upgrades....just as you shouldn't be spraying everywhere you go.
