Yes sir. Ran acrossed it in a build thread on ls1 tech. Came acrossed a local guy on craigslist That has like a fbody graveyard it looks like. Tons of ls1 and f body parts. Can I use a ls1 intake on the lq4? Also would the oil pan bolt up ? Could I use the computer from one ? Would the crossmember and mounts work in mine ?

Edit. Same cor the lq9 ? Only diffrence is it's not an iron block so it's lighter ,and diffrent pistons correct ? Which would be a better base for boost in the future? The are both roughly the same price around here which is kind of suprising

Lq9 is an iron block. It has flat top pistons. The lq4 has dished pistons. That's the only difference. You will need an ls1 fbody pcm and engine harness. I think you will have to re-pin the body harness to get everything else working. Its a lot of work. Any lsx will accept any lsx oil pan and intake. The intake has to match the head style of which there are 2. Cathedral and square.

And, when I was driving, I honestly didn't even notice to see if anyone was watching...I was having WAAAAY too much fun.
