No he is full of shit. It takes longer than that to clean the engine and engine bay before installing anything. Unless you half ass it... Can you disconnect everything, yank the engine out, and have the new one bolted in in 8 hours? Probably. Will everything be clean, routed properly and hooked up? Nope.

takes me 6 hours to do 2 honda swaps both runnin. my sr20 swap took around 3 days with wiring and going from ka > sr. and it takes me 1 week to do a right hand drive conversion.

One of my buddy runs around a little civic hatch (no clue what it has nor could i really care less) and he asked us to do a RHD conversion. I did a little research and called a friend that has swapped a tegi to RHD and even with the 5 of us i really dont think it was a 40 hour project... If we busted our ass it could be done in a week but if i had to estimate, its 80-120 hours to do it clean. Props if you can do it in a week though, thats bad ass.

Just took my buddy's Hyabusa out for a ride... cold as fuck.

Bounced the needle off the 300km/h... was still climbing rpm.

Shut it down, pulled over, got off the bike handed him his helmet and leathers.

Scared.

Don't be scared.

Reminds me of a pretty epic story of a guy around here that I knew that had a hayabusa. He has a lime green 100% custom bike and got clocked going like 220 in a 55 and the cops knew it was him and were at his house waiting for him when he came home, he tried to deny that it was him lol.
