No wrapping bro, ceramic coat! Lol. I would but headers are a nightmare on this car, took me and a friend 15 hours over the course of 3 days to swap headers ><. I'm just squeezing the last little bit I can out of her until the full rebuild, which wont be for quite some time...

Short term goals right now: (2-4 months)
Finish exterior (sideskirts, some minor paint correction, and a couple other bits)
Order the rear BBK + e-brake (expect the end of this month)
Assortment of chassis bracing (have 2 of 5 braces I want)
Front radiator ducting (to replace the spare tire that will no longer fit over BBK)
New upper trim around AC vents
New Intake air temp sensor
ABS Modulator rebuild (ordered O-rings + grease)

In my earlier years shortly after high school I certainly DID go down the path of rice. I did terrible, terrible things to my ford focus that I regretted many years after. But in a way I'm glad I did because I've learned all of the downfalls of *** parts, cheap carbon fiber, rattle-can'd trim, underglow, vinyl graphics, and yes... LAMBO DOORS..... maybe one day I'll dig up a picture for you guys to laugh at (if you ask nicely). But thank you for the compliment, my primary focus on the NSX is to dish out the big bucks and get quality, name brand parts. No cutting corners, no compromises, just hard work, good research, and mods that will stay for the long haul. :)

O-rings and grease are in for the ABS modulator rebuild. Pain in the ass to find the right stuff to deal with brake fluid, since it's so caustic.

Also got Ichiba Ver. 2 15mm hubcentric wheel spacers for the rear. They are just a tad larger than the crap spacers I have right now.

Also ordered the rear big brake kit + e-brake, their e-brake design will be finalized this weekend and I'll have the first complete set with an e-brake for the NSX, he will then release the kit to the public.

Small Update: A Vendor FINALLY went about to create insulating gaskets for the intake manifold, similar to the ones that Hondata makes for many other H motors. The theory is to insulate and keep heat from soaking into the intake manifold and raising the air temperature going into the engine. The result is more HP in theory. The NSX has yet to be dyno tested but a thorough bit of research and testing can be found here -> http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php?t=164680

I don't expect anything outrageous, I'd be certainly happy with just 3-4hp gain. And since they are cheaper than OEM gaskets I said why not ;)

In theory they wont prevent heat soak only slow it. They will conduct less heat than a metal to metal contact which will slow the heat transfer through the joint but it will eventually still heat up.

Incoming air through the manifold will still keep it cooler than what the engine will be able to transfer to it, even idling is still drawing air through it, however better results would be achieved while the car is in motion.
