Are you using efilive yet?

Also 2250cc inj is lol... even in a 4 cylinder that's like 1200hp worth of injector on e-85. At that point he should be running 2 inj per cylinder if he expects any kind of drivability.

Yes, both 6.7's are on EFI Live after we finally figured out what to do to fix the DPF and EGR deletes <_<

The 5.9 is still on the old "dial up" tuner but that will change shortly  Pulling season is over and its time to dump in more money for next year ;)

the 4th truck is just an old 12v that makes considerably less power then these do but im pretty sure EFI live has nothing on mechanical motors :P

Even two injectors is still a stretch on that much fuel... the one 6.7 has two 1000cc marines per cylinder and the big dog has 3 1200's

the old 5.9 is still running on 1 per cylinder and it STILL makes those numbers...

There are so many guys out there still pledging allegiance to the hand held tuners... EFI Live is just what the cummins guys have needed. I can't begin to describe it's capabilities.

One thing you need to consider with this guy's injectors is his fuel. E-85 requires 35-40% more volume for the same hp. It is 85% ethanol after all. If I was running gas I could probably make my target hp with some good 80lb/hr injectors (8 of them). On E-85 I'm going to need 120lb/hr at a minimum. The target is 1200bhp/1000whp. His setup still seems retarded though. If you have fuel requirements like that bite the bullet and buy a nice stand alone ECU then machine or fab the intake for 2inj/cyl.

Oh btw, I put down a deposit on a cummins last week. I won't be able to pick it up until the beginning of December because of work. 06 mega cab/2wd/G56. It only has 78k miles on it. The thing is cherry. The interior and exterior are in like new condition. It's an SLT but it has every available option except the sunroof and rear entertainment system. The original owner specifically ordered it with cloth seats. It has a big ass ARE camper shell that has to go as soon as I get it. After that... the fun begins. I have a very specific plan for it.

Nice
Only thing i would read up on is the g56. i think i remember seeing something about they like to spit their guts out the side of the case, might want to check it out and see if there is anything you can do about it.
But your truck has efilive available for it i believe which is a real plus from what i hear. I got a MfiLive on my truck, 13mm wrench and a screwdriver

Efilive is the reason I targeted an 06/07. I can get rid of the pilot injection through the tune and get the fuel mileage of the 03/04's. G-56's aren't as strong as the NV5600. The case likes to split over 600whp. However there are parts out there to help. Its getting harder and harder to find genuine NV5600 parts.

Probably around 1k. Its the tip in right off idle that will be shitty.

Yes, it is right about 1k and still surges. I am also running AEM EMS V2. It idles ok, but not stock by any means. I really chose this setup so that when I get the money for the stroker and bigger turbo I don't have to upgrade again, not that I need it for the current run.

You should look into the ID2000's... high impedance injector with 160lb/hr rating that can idle in a stock 4 cylinder.
