Ahh ok maybe cuz its been years. When he had the Z he got the re71rs not too long after they released. May be exagerrating on price. But they were for surely at the very least 1200 for the set of 4 on his sport wheels.

I’ll do research before I even trust myself. Nothing ever wrong with that. No matter how much anybody knows they can always learn. I can’t tell anybody how much I’ve been wrong myself. It happens. But yeah, tires aren’t cheap. Even cheap ones are too cheap. Especially when you get to mount and balancing. Alignment.

the way he put it makes it sound worse than it is

Its minimum 1000$, and I'm sure the police station loves that money and will enforce it heavily.

My old Z06 I was happy with stock sizes (265F 295 R).

My new Z06 even 285/345s suck on summer tires. I need drag radials to even hook 2nd. (Nitto Invos suck)
