If a 911 is just within your budget, 2 months payments on said 911 would buy a beater.

I'm just saying, if you can afford a 911, a $3500 beater isn't going to break you. If you can't afford that, you really can't afford a 911.

Heh I'm trying to stay under $60k right now. I could stretch up a bit but I'd rather not I can find something I like within my budget for sure.

Visited beemer Audi and chevy yesterday. Test drove M4, M3, Z51 3lt vette, RS5 and a S6.

Didn't really like the BMW interiors at all to be honest, wish they had like the display inside the dash not above it without being able to "hide it", and also wish they had a flat bottom steering wheel... so used to mine that seeing a rounded one looks so ugly now haha.

I really liked the z51 3LT in red. Felt a little more modern like heads up display, screen like speedometer like the new audis and such. For sure a strong contender, just it's 2 seat but I can def live with that!

RS5 was same as my car basically except v8 but can't really do much to it without an overly expensive SC kit since it's N/A.

The 911 is just too much $$ like $70k + so I'm gonna pass don't want to have $800+ monthly payments lol.

Really torn between the M4 and the Z51 3LT....

What about the Lexus is 350 F? or the Lexus RC350?

or a Porsche Cayman?

Not a fan of Lexus for the most part. I almost got a IS-F when it came out but they didn't offer it in manual and felt a little "boaty". The new 350 F sport is cute but again I don't think they have manual. They are really slow also I believe... like 306 crank HP?

Isn't Cayman the poor mans porsche? GTS is slow for the price... and the GT4 is 911 price... so probably not a realistic option for me :\

Cayman is not a poor man's Porsche, the 987 can be a track monster.

I'd pick up one of those, over the new turbo 4.

my thoughs exactly.

the poor man porsche would be the Boxer/Boxer S

the Cayman looks VERY nice, is nice to drive and is very confortable. And would be in your tiny 60k budget (sarscasm)

here's a Cayman S (Wonder how much they go for)
