It's a transverse monoleaf. Very light weight and very efficient. Progressive spring rate. All of the production corvette road course records are on leafs. The magnetic damping system introduced on the C6 zr1 expanded the range of the leafs. Really cool system.

I think in most cases you'll want to avoid higher mileage cars unless you are doing a swap. Higher mileage cars can mean money pit.

Not every model is like that. My crown vic and corvette are definitely in that category

It's my work car. Chemical plant life. 426195 miles and counting. I've had it almost 2 years. Gas, oil, a set of coil packs, plugs, and boots are all I've put in it. Paid $1000 for it and drive it 66mi round trip to work.
