i dont like the electronic feel of the motors anymore. they arent as responsive as our older detroit 60s and the computer has that stupid progressive shift built in where it wont let you go above certain rpms.

The dd15's in the newer western stars are garbage. I know a few guys around a million km's needing rebuilt already and emissions problems from day one. I'd never buy a star ever.

Anything Cummins is good from what I've driven and yeah the 60 series are amazing.

I ran the dd15 for a few weeks. Gutless and a shitty truck to shift. Did not enjoy a single day with that thing. Water pump let go on day 2 aswell ha.
