C5's are cake if you are using good headers. I can take both mine out and out them back in in about an hour, hour and a half on jackstands. They are 2" primaries too. They are the newer design kook's. It's all about the angles... lol. F-bodies are much worse than vettes in my experience. Nothing like a 4v mustang though.

I must have not been able to figure it out because it took me all fucking day to get the driver side in on mine, and that's only after beating it in with a mallet and destroying my starter without realizing.

the best part is, I had to remove it to get the starter back in ;(

You ever try putting long tubes on a challenger??? It's right up there in fun level with corvettes and mustangs.

Did a charger not a challenger.. charger was simple on my rack but could be a pain in the dick on the ground, i think we did take the motor mount loose for one side(it was 2 years ago, the last 1 i did)

but unless your planning on making big power its not worth it, and NEVER buy a ''cheap'' header, you will learn your lesson lol

Chargers are a little easier as well as automatic challengers. 6 speed challengers are a good time.

I did kooks long tubes on mine before gutting it back when it was a street car. Both motor mounts out, dropped front suspension, lifted body, and ended up beating in some tubes for clearance around the starter.

Pretty similar to a 4v mustang.

sounds serious lmao

I have a bigblock in my monte carlo dont get me started on headers that dont fit, one side goes around the frame the other around the steering shaft and the frame

and of course they have to be slip tubes, shit lean pops for no reason sometimes its kinda funny lol

But yeah that sounds like alot of fun lmao

The starter is on the passenger side. After I unfold my passenger side header it literally drops out. You have to have the car at least 2 feet in the air for the header to rotate and it falls out. The collector angles down. The driver side takes about twice as long as the passenger side. I wrapped my headers and insulated/shielded the starter and wiring harness because of heat issues. Doing O2 sensors with the exhaust together is a bigger pita than the header install imo.
