Parts is fine for a shop I guess. Marked up 30% atleast but isn't much here. Idk
what car and labor rate? Seems a bit excessive imo... From the states or Canada?
from canada. guy says he charges 75 an hour and its a 96' integra.

If they are replacing the metal lines on all four corners it could easily be that much, with parts and labor.
Replacing lines on the car is a pain in the ass. Doing it properly can take some time.
This is made exponentially worse if the car is rusty. Shops factor that into estimates as well. If they think they will break it on the way out, they will add it to the invoice estimate.
yea he said it was very rusty. he says he actually undercharged me... which is just unbelievable because i dont get why he told me 250 to start then. and id at least expect a quick phone call to ask me if its ok if the price that he gave me more than doubles.

Can you break down the Year make and model of your vehicle and exact parts he changed? I should be able to come up with something.
96' integra. he says he changed the brake and fuel lines. this shop is a very unnoficila style garage. the guy always wants to be paid in cash (hum hum) and barely gave me a bill. the bill is official but all he wrote is brake lines a nd fuel lines.. 100 for material and 375 labor. rest is tax
