It was useless, now it's not. Looks good to me. It's his car, if people don't like it, fuck em'. I've never understood purist anti-modders.

I agree with that completely.

With one small exception.

Please men, stop putting gm blocks in the mopars. ty. If you can't afford o build the fucker buy a gm car.

got tipped off the other day of a resto mod 426 70 challenger. I drive 3 hours to go look at it because it's 25k underpriced for even a half assed build. Open the hood and what do i see? fucking ls block. Was a beautiful car though and was actually pretty fun to drive. I just couldn't bite the bullet on an older mopar with a gm block :( Sorry fmx, gotta draw the line somewhere.

I love corvette motors but really -_-

To get that much power reliably out of an air cooled motor isn't going to happen, and to come even close its going to cost considerably more. There's no reason not to. Being a purist is a stupid attitude to have towards cars. If it works better why not.

The only things I don't like are the air setup and the orange. You can place the flares on that kit in a way where there's no wheel gap but still a reasonable enough amount of clearance to run the car static. More than I'm driving my car at everyday anyways. Air ride kind of kills a performance car imo. I prefer the narrower flares opposed to the wider setup as well, but that's kind of negligible. Nonetheless, if I had the bank account to do it right now my Z06 would be gone and this would be in my garage.

All i saw was the 1 picture. I met a guy at WannagoFast that had a really rare 911. I'm not a porsche guy so i don't know what gen it was. The car was worth $100k+. He said it was his dream car when he was a kid. He is rich now, and found one he could build. He put a bolt on LS6 in it with incredible attention to detail. He said he had people tell him he ruined it. Someone at wannagofast offered him $140k for it while we were talking. He said thanks but no thanks. That proves that it isn't ruined for everyone.

Meh call me what you want... I just feel an old air cooled porsche should be left alone cause that's what makes em unique.

I was on stage at Barrett Jackson when an 88 911 Turbo with under 30k came across the block. My father asked me if I was gonna bid not realizing how much they were worth. The car went for $115000. But yeah, if I were to come into the kind of money where it just didn't matter I'd probably build something similar.

Here it is. It's a 930. The pictures don't do it justice. The swap was done so well it looks better than factory. Black wrinkle finish powder coat everywhere... tucked wiring harness, etc.
