Alright guys after my second attempt at doing the timing chain job (first replacement chain snapped immediately) , my engine was a little seized up from not moving for a couple weeks and so was my starter. My starter wasn't engaging properly and made this horrendous noise which I originally attributed to my mistake. It then started up and ran great after I left it over night and tried the next day. Pics to come of the newly modified flatdeck.

Wheels well built with steel plate. Sides and headache rack out of 1.25" steel square tubing. Engine all reassembled and running. I also got my new Duratracs on, love them. Great on trails.

Much further down the road once I start doing some more aggressive trails it to bob the frame and flatdeck to the rear leaf spring shackle. Giving me a much better exit angle.

FIX THE BUMPER!

it would look SOOOO much better, just 1 simple fix

and i agree, get rid of the graphics on the doors lol

other than that looks like ur doing a good job.

maybe think about a piece of metal for the rack that covers the lower part of the cab to protect it, also it kinda just looks unfinished

That's the game plan is I will Bob bed/frame to the rear shackle. Get rid of the rear bumper by doing so and put in a piece of steel plate to cover the rear and act as a bumper and a place for lights to be put in. Next step is adding some bars from the headache rack to the wheels wells to stop it from flexing and hitting my cab. Tailgate will come soon as well. I will be repainting the truck in a neon orange at some point next year. Plan after I Bob and get everything setup is to fix up the interior by removing the carpet and bedlining the floor, replacing the seats with something comfier and more supportive and putting in an oem Toyota inclinometer

Here is a better picture

I would love to see that. Where I am from these trucks are very rare, and even more so in good shape, hence why I picked it
