Old turbo rwd volvo as some of you have seen. Have not decided if I should put the locker diff in before it snows as I've really only driven open diff rwd cars in the snow before

There's a technique for driving in snow?
I thought it was just common sense.

Brake a lot sooner, stay much farther away from cars etc..4x4 helps tremendously.

The technique is when you're already stuck and able to get out with out ripping apart your transmission. Many people in Georgia during that blizzard lacked the technique needed...

When we get ice the whole world shuts down. I still have to go to work though..

One reason I like having something 4wd. Granted most winters its not necessary but working for UPS and our "peak" mad season is from Thanksgiving to Christmas I GOT to get to work. Usually I'm getting to work around 1 or 2 AM, live in the country (wide open fields = drifts of snow everywhere) so traffic does not help me much. Many times I'm the lucky one forging a new path through the snow early in the morning....

lol....I think that hurricane is gonna land a bit South of ya and will break up. Dig the Audi! Gooo Quattrooooooooooo! haha.

Of course, when it gets this deep and other cars start blocking the road.....good luck!

If I'm not mistaken, NJ has gotten hammered with feet of snow the past couple winters?

We got a decent amount of snow the past few years! I've only been in NJ for 9 years. (I'm originally from Brasil so any snow is A LOT OF SNOW in my books haha!)

It will be my first time testing the Quattro + Sports Differential tho! Previous car was also AWD coupe but not an Audi.

I will be raising my coilovers to higher setting and throwing on my 18'' winter wheels + blizzak tires for some snow fun

If it gets too deep, I will have to bring out the quad ofc!!
