from what ive seen the g80 does its job and works well, usually when it blows up its from people abusing them offroading, rock crawling etc
for the average person who only occasionally off roads it should last ya

They said it sat for 2 weeks -40c he got in it and jist drove. Was a pretty dramatic failure apparently haha

On a side note, aanyone have any suggestions for a reasonable priced shocks? I'm after a soft shock. The 3/4 springs and cranked Tbars make it ride like hell; feels like a dam rough 3/4 ton. I like the high payload capacity, but it's a little over the top.. No give what so eever. They got big fat stiff ones in there, but they regularly loaded her down, so it was necessary.
