The first one i bought for myself was a 99 Firebird Formula. I still have it. Up until then (Sr. Year of high school) i drove whatever was in the driveway. We always had a spare vehicle when i was growing up.

Yeah, dumb thing is I never went for my licence back in high school I never really worked back then and moms didn't have money etc etc. It was funny when I was talking co-op in a garage and always kept saying "How you trying to be a mechanic and you can't even test drive the car once your done fix it"

where all the nissan sentra replys at ?
gtrs do have awd for winter.... i i woulnt bother with one. buy a gts-t and thank me lather

Oh yeah I know they got awd, but I wanted to aim for rwd (at least see if there was any around here)
& Idk how I forgot but the car I was looking into is actually a r33 gts rwd, under 100k mil.

But yeah if all fails I'll look into something else, Im not really feeling the honda civic life...
I used to want a integra type R back in the day but I think it'd take some time/money to actually make it look decent.
If anything integra type r 1998 coupe would do.

Has anyone driven the subie BRZ or scion frs? I think it was 28-30k brand new. That would be a nice 2nd or maybe even first car to grab.
Used would be ideal I dont have that type of cash to toss around like that.

Had a jeep.

Dont recommend buying a sports car or anything nice for your first car. Get a beater save your money and invest in a better opportunity when you actually can.

My friend owns a 240sx and that shit is real clean, idk what he had under the hood but it was pretty quick when I rode in it. 240 would def be on my list but that'd be later on.

ahh volvos, I almost have no knowledge about them or any of the models. I've seen a couple and they look like can last a while.
Doesn't volvo make engines for jets or planes or something?

If I could find a cheap but decent one this might be a second choice but for some reason I can see any repairs being pricey af. I can do my own oil change (pretty sure i remember how to do something that basic)but anything that reqs attention to the engine then I gotta bring it into the garage.

First car I had a choice between a 85 Chevy 1500 I helped paint , a 90 foxbody 4 banger and a 85 cutlass cierra gt. For some stupid reason I chose the cierra lmao. Had it for 7 years until a storm dropped a giant branch through the sunroof lol.....

First car was a Honda Pilot

Second car was Honda Ridgeline

Now own 2014 civic Si coupe for my daily

But I'm in America

My insurance was almost 2K per year at 16-18 once I hit 19 it dropped to 1700
20-21 was 1500

Now I'm at 1,000 and I'm 24

Also I've never had a ticket/ car accident etc

Cheap. I'm 27 clean record and still would be about $2k American.

what answer are you looking for?

you're asking for opinions, but your shutting the ideas down. like many said just get a basic car- chances are you're gonna wreck it anyway.

also i never saw the appeal of buying a car older than yourself....
