Huh? Nothing in my post is wrong, and it's all specifically related to VWs two litre gas naturally aspirated engine, which has changed very little since the 1990s. The fact you mention the TDI in your next post probably tells me you didn't get what I was saying. And I'm not sure why, I was incredibly clear what I was referring to. And the biggest VW lover in the world hates the two litre. It's probably an engine hated by brand loyalists more than people who aren't because they know how weak the engine is in comparison to other engines in the lineup. It is by far the weakest part of VWs lineup, and it has long been retired from their most important market (Europe), but it held on in VWs entry level cars in North America.
Like seriously, the engine in the Jetta that the OP is talking about has been in VWs, more or less unchanged, since 1992. That's ridiculous.
Honestly I love my 2.0 aba, one of the easiest motors to turn into a stroker capable of handling a massive amount of power. Probably one of the strongest and most reliable gas motors they made. Easiest to work on by far too.
