sound to me like your making this thread way to early, wasting my time, your time and everyone elses time

Everybody marches to the beat of their own drum man, some people like to take it slow and learn, than others go elbow deep all or nothing..

The only difference is how you start, in the end hopefully he'll walk away with a lot more knowledge.

E: and he definetly will walk away knowing to never go balls deep again.. Slow and steady wins the race.

to early to learn about a car and how mods affect it?

it sounds to me like your very ignorant and probably a child lol..

not at all, but your hardly "learning about them" in this thread.

you dont even have the evo yet. its like someone trying to buy new appliances for a house they dont own, its rediculous.

get the car first, then do your research for the 2-3 years "you dont plan on modding it"

This.

Learn how to drive your car and learn your limits, then go ahead and start modding once you know you don't have a lemon.

my first performance mods would be: intake, downpipe, tune (probably your best bang for your buck I would guess)
cosmetic: coils, wheels

I'd go with the cosmetic for the first few years (cuz warranty), then start the performance shit years down the line. But don't get too far ahead of yourself. Best to save some research/anticipation for when you actually have the car, and are ready to start doing mods.

also, don't believe the idiots on the forums who say they gained 50+whp with "just a tune", usually always means they turned up the boost or some other stupid shit that they don't wanna own up to, to make the gains look huge.

If you get a white Evo, you should be able to take it to Larzuk and get three sockets.

Jah + Ith + Ber that sumbish, and you're good to go!

Hope this helps. :)

Hey guys I want to make this thread for a few reasons;

1. To see what mods people first upgrade in their car/truck

2. Help and suggestions for a newbie like me

3. I am planning on getting an Evo x and would love to discuss any first mods for a sports sedan, check my list out and see if I am going in the right direction?

Priority List For Mods(Evo x):
1. Obv check brakes/service/02 sensor
2. ECO upgrade and tune for fuel in area
3. front/rear sway bars
4. Full exhaust
5. BIGGER TURBO? then retune ofc

Edit: I dont plan on modding for a while for warranty reasons.

Why settle for 4 when you can have twice as many?
