About 70 miles. And it felt VERY rough riding in the truck with him. Almost like we were dragging it.

The reason why I brought it up, is because I find it strange that my distributer AND my transmission went out at the same time? No, that doesn't make sense. My distributor going bad while I was driving and causing my truck to suddenly just shut off, makes sense. The transmission now not working seems like something that happened after the initial problem. Just wondering if it is possible.

It's rather pathetic honestly. Winching something up that is locked in park after a fender bender is just lazy.

No shit, they tried it with my srt, and I made them get shims to get it on a flat bed..

I told the guy that towed my T/A i'd tip him well if he got it up on the rollback without doing any damage. He worked his ass off in pouring rain and got it done right. I tipped him $100 and he was only towing it 8 miles.

Damn son, lol. It took my guy probably an hour to get mine up.. A skilled tow truck driver is a RARE commodity.

If it was in four wheel while being towed yes it could damage the differential and transfer case. Not sure about transmission but possibly.

Next question is - ya got proof it was damaged during the tow? Call around to some shady lawyers and see if anyone would dare take your case.

when i hit the horse and totaled my s10 the flatbed guy hooked it up and was taking the slack out when i asked him if he put it in neutral. he said no and i jumped his ass and told him to take it out of gear so he didnt tear the driveline out of it.

this was the same company though that was towing a fire truck to northern kentucky to get worked on and flipped it in the middle of the highway. we got behind it when they were dragging it back home because it was totaled then and the fucking tow truck started walking all over the highway and he about hit traffic headon before he could get it stopped. they were some real jakelegs when it came to towing.
