My wife's will be paid off this coming february. I'm going to tune it and throw sow lowering springs on it to freshen it up for her. Maybe it will keep her from buying a C6 for another year or two.

Yeah only downside is the GT's stock exhaust is incredibly quiet. I can't believe any company would make a car with that big v8 so quiet.
Can't comment on what a stock GXP exhaust sounds like as I've never heard it.

Who cares about stock exhaust? It's a 4 door car, of course they made it quiet. Hell, have you heard a stock 5th Gen Camaro SS? Mine is nearly silent at idle.





From what I've seen I can do about $700 in mods, tune it, and make 170-180whp up from ~100whp.

That would be enough to shit on mustangs from 2004 back which I think would be hilarious.
